Efficiency analysis and development of a web-based M&E platform

Our team of Mainlevel team consultants composed of Dr Felipe Isidor-Serrano (team leader, evaluation expert), David Haasner (Monitoring and IT expert), Alice van Caubergh (evaluation expert) and Nicolas Moser (IT expert) successfully supported the M&E assignment for the Afikepo-Nutrition and Access to Primary Education (Afikepo-NAPE) project in Malawi which is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and being implemented by GIZ with an overall objective to enhance nutrition and food security in Malawi.

The Mainlevel team i) assessed the project’s efficiency following international efficiency standards to help the project improve in future, ii) developed an intuitive web-based M&E platform (including a user-friendly app for data collection and aggregation), and iii) supported the implementation through needs-oriented M&E training of relevant district-based stakeholders.

We are proud to be part of an important change process in Malawi and thank the GIZ project team for their commitment and appreciation.
