Our interdisciplinary team of M&E consultants, digital consultants and IT developers works together closely on assignments for a wide range of clients including GIZ, KfW, the EU, UN agencies and a growing number of NGOs as well as other international organisations. From conducting evaluations, baseline studies or gender analyses towards identifying and implementing digital solutions that support projects and make a difference in people’s lives, we are proud of the diversity of professional expertise we can offer to our clients – to help them be more effective, more accountable and more impactful throughout their interventions.

Your challenge

In your position as Psychologist/M&E consultant, you are responsible for driving forward organizational development projects of interventions and organisations in the development cooperation sector. You support your clients, in a team or alone, by providing applied research services and methodological support to M&E systems and processes. Your tasks include:

  • Implementation and management of M&E/applied research assignments including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Application of robust academic models and theories to real world challenges in development cooperation
  • Development of proposals for new opportunities within and beyond M&E
  • Support to other assignments when needed, mutual learning and support among colleagues

Your qualities

  • An academic background in psychology, organizational psychology, applied psychology or social sciences with a strong focus on quantitative methods
  • Strong data analysis skills and confidence in using statistical analysis programs like SPSS, R or STATA
  • Desired: Experience in development cooperation, gained through previous work, research or studies; ideally: at least 1-2 years of work experience
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and learning, ready and willing to take gradually increasing project responsibilities
  • Having a consultant mindset: results-oriented, creative and with attention to quality
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills and intercultural competence
  • Language skills: fluency in English, knowledge of other languages (particularly German, French, Spanish and Arabic) is an advantage
